The Mandan Rodeo Days recently honored professional bullfighter, Josh Rivinius, by auctioning off an original painting of him during their Mandan Rodeo Days to benefit Wounded Warriors. The painting sold for 450 dollars. Rivinius remarked, “The Mandan Rodeo has been a huge asset to my career because it's one of the top rodeos in the country over the Fourth of July. The rodeo brings in the top cowboys and stock from all over the country. Allowing me to be involved in it has been a privilege.” He adds, “I proudly represent North Dakota all over the country and to represent Mandan on the 2013 rodeo poster is very humbling and rewarding.” Josh has been fighting bulls since 1997 and has been a a favorite at the Badlands Circuit Finals and this past spring Josh was selected to fight bulls at the Ram National Circuit Finals in Oklahoma City.
