ardiemaiercinchThe 2013 Championship Bull Riding (CBR) season has wrapped up and the Cowboy Outfitters USA bull riders made their presence known. Wesley Silcox, Cody Teel, Ardie Maier, and Trey Benton all finished in the top ten. Trey Benton finished 8th with 714 points. Trey won the CBR event in Lufkin, TX and the George Paul Memorial in Del Rio, TX. Winning the George Paul Memorial is a prestigious award that many bull riders dream of and this puts him on the record books with past winners such as Tuff Hedeman, Lane Frost, Jim Sharp and Clint Craig. Trey had the opportunity to pick a recipient of the Ram Country Dodge 5,000 donation, he selected fellow bull rider Jared Long who was injured at the Las Vegas, NV event. Ardie Maier finished 6th with 778.50 points. Ardie won the Huron, SD event in October by scoring 269.50 points. Cody Teel finished 5th with 793.50 points. In January, Cody won Jackson, TN and Bossier, LA back to back. In June, Cody won the First Responder Memorial CBR event in West, TX. Cody donated his winnings in West, TX back to the West Volunteer Fire Department Special Victims Fund. Wesley Silcox finished 3rd with 890 points. Wesley won over 94,000 at the CBR events this year by winning Las Vegas, NV and Cheyenne, WY.
